July 13th, 2009

People in United State may not be familiar with the dorayaki in a panda shape; but people from Japan or Japan fans should not forget about this well-known famous dorayaki (パンダ焼) in the Japanese Ueno Zoo (桜木亭上野動物園)

Panda USB Drive

When the USB is not in used, this cute panda can stand on your desk easily with no struggle. If you need it to reach into its filling, just bite it or cut them it half, the usb will be right there for you.

What you normally see in a food usb drive is simply a memory stick. Chicken wing usb flash  drive doesn’t show you any detail of the chicken. This red bean cake, however, gives you everything from a shiny cripsy outlook and tastey tempting filling! The red bean filling is clearly colored and clear-coated. That’s why people go crazy for Japan; Japanese creators are just that precise and thoughtful.

The hamburger usb flash drive is compact in size; yet the layers of the burger, from the crispy grilled bun, juicy steak, fresh lettuce and tomato, are all clearly presented. As if this is not perfect enough, the hamburger is sprinkled with realistic sesames for perfection.

HotDog usb flash drive is served with a touch of ketchup and mustard. Unlike the hamburger usb drive, the usb memory stick is fully protected by the hotdog bun.

The donut usb flash drive comes with one strawberry glazed and one chocolate coated mini donut attached together. Colorful candies are also sprinkled on top as garnishment.

As quickly as you can get fast food, the data transfer rate of these usb flash drives can go up to 40Mbps. Supporting USB 1.1/2.0 interface, no installation is need in operation systems from Windows 98/XP/NT/2000/Vista to Mac. It has also been tested under OS Windows 7 that is launching sometime this year; no driver is needed.

The USBZone believes usb driver should be used not only in data storage, but also for collections and gifts. Although the donut usb drive is not a new product to the internet users, The USBZone explained, online buyers feel more comfortable and assured to make purchases from a US-based seller compare to those existing USB etailers located in Asia.

The fast food usb flash drives are already available at TheUSBZone.com. The price range will be from US$25.00-35.00 for 4GB and 8GB. HotDog USB drive will be available in the 3rd week of June at the same price range.

USB Lunch Bag to Keep Your Food Warm

February 28th, 2009

Weird gadgets, so-called creative gadgets, are always introduced from Japan. Here it is again, USB lunch bag.

Not so sure how practical it is in your daily life, but it is a genius/lazy idea to make your life more convenient. Plug in the usb lunch bag, the device will be heated up and keep your food warm until it is served. It is designed to keeps your food at 140 degrees Fahrenheit; yet no experiment has shown if there will be any chemical reaction or degrade on the food quality - when the food is stored in a temperature that is warm enough to stay warm, but not hot enough to kill bacteria.

Japanese innovated this USB lunch bag for their daily bento. Warming your food at your desk meaning you don’t get another excuse to get away from your seat. In a hectic working environment, short breaks, according to the professionals, are needed. You need to make a short trip to restroom, to get a drink, to take a breath in order to stay in the best performance at work.

We don’t see this lunch box will be available in US anytime soon.

USB Heating Pad to Make Your Chest Warm

February 23rd, 2009

Girls always feel cold easily than guys. Is this winter too cold for you? Here is a USB heating pad for GIRLS only! Why? This is a heating pad designed to be placed underneath the bra – so-called the “USB Chest Heating Pad

Japanese seems to innovate all these “creative” yet not to practical or useful gadgets. This is a heating pad you have to charge up all the time. In order to keep the warms, you have to connect it to your PC all the time – meaning you will be wrapped or at least surrounded by a long USB cable ( depending on how far you would like to go away from your PC with the heating pad).

For office lady, you may have to go to the restroom first thing in the morning to “wear” the heating pad, go back to your seat to plug in the cable. How about a break to the restroom or meeting during the day? Do you have to walk around with a cable coming out underneath your shirt? No one knows – we never tried. Compare to the USB Glove we introduced earlier, this may even be a less user-friendly USB gadgets.

The weirdest Japanese USB Gadget

February 10th, 2009

Besides all the innovative usb flash drive we have introduced, Japanese seem to have more humorous use of usb to present. Here we are presenting one of the weirdest Japanese USB-powered toy, H-Bouya.

This USB toy is meant to be plugged into your computer’s USB port. What more weird is that the toy is connected to the “H” key on your keyboard - the only key that can be syncronized. When you press on “H”, the H-Bouya boy turns red and blinks his eyes, that’s why he’s called “H”-Bouya boy!

If you don’t see a point of buying it, it’s okay. Neither do I. It is a useless and weirdest usb gadget I’ve seen.Yes you need something fun out of USB, but you definitely need something that is more useful than this.

USB Necktie Fan for White Collars

February 3rd, 2009

Another weird and useless usb gadgets introduced from Japan, USB powered necktie fan.

USB Necktie Fan
USB Necktie Fan
USB Necktie Fan

Guys never like to tight up tie- “I can’t breath!” “I feel sleepy”. Because of these complains Japanese came up with this idea of a necktie with a built-in fan, to have fresh air circulate underneath the shirt.

The tie is made of silicone to make it to be as soft as a real time (which is close t impossibl). Once the tie is charged up, you can simply wear it and turn it on. No more sweating during the summer; no more sleepiness from the tie during the afternoon.

We can see the thoughtful behind this gadget idea; however we doubt how practical this necktie can be. You will probably not wearing a necktie with built-in fan to a meeting; if you are at your seat in the office, it is not mandatory to button up your collar and tight your tie. This usb necktie is available in Japan for USD$33 approximately. Worth it or not?

Carbon Fiber USB Drive is Born!

January 30th, 2009

New Type of USB: Carbon Fiber USB Drive is Born

TheUSBZone.com is introducing a new series of USB Flash Drive with carbon fiber. Creative idea on flash drive material besides metal, plastic or silicone.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Jan 30, 2009 – A new type of USB flash drive is born. TheUSBZone.com is introducing a series of carbon fiber usb drive. This will attract a big crowd’s interest after metal, wood, and silicone usb drives are introduced.
Carbon Fiber USB
The carbon fiber usb drives series mainly features two products – pure carbon fiber usb drive and mini crystal lock usb. Pure carbon fiber usb drives are designed for people who die for carbon fiber. There is no other material or decoration to outweigh its natural feature. When it comes to size, it is as small and light as any OEM usb drives offered in the market; when it comes to appearance and design, the carbon fiber wins.

The mini lock usb drive - with its sparkling crystal on top – employs carbon fiber as a surrounding garnishment. Unlike the pure carbon fiber usb, this is mini lock is capless. Memory stick is attached to the back of the lock and can be easily flipped out to use. The pure carbon fiber usb drive comes with two colors – black or silver carbon fiber. However, the mini crystal lock is available in black carbon only.

Functionality wise, these usb flash drives transfer data up to 40mbps, supporting USB 1.1/2.0 interfaces. As user-friendly as it is in size, it supports operating systems from Windows 98/XP/NT/2000/Vista to Mac, and no driver is needed. Keychain grommet is attached on top; when usb drive is not in used, it can be multi-purpose as a pendant, keychain or decorations.

These carbon fiber usb drives, TheUSBZone.com believes, will create a big demand among usb lovers or carbon fiber fans. It is something new to the market. “If you type ‘carbon fiber usb’ on the search engine, the only usb drive available is in a pen shape.” Clara Lai, TheUSBZone spokewoman said, “consumers today need something that looks more fashionable and innovative.”

The carbon fiber will be available in the first week of February at TheUSBZone online store. The price range will be from US$32-49.99 for 4GB and 8GB.

For additional information on this release, please contact Clara Lai or visit www.theusbzone.com.
